Beautiful campground. But staff leaves it less than to be desired. Washrooms had vomit left in there for more than 24 hrs. Toilet seats needed cleaned. And when we were half packed at 5 mins past check out. Staff came and threaten us with a $20 extra charge causing us to pack the remainder in a hurry. Causing us to stop and repack outside the park. Staff need to perform as much as they demand. Ruined a nice stay.
Beautiful trails through mixed terrain with stunning views of the Cowichan River and valley. Could get muddy in places as the fall season progresses but trails were in good shape for end of September.

Really great trail with beautiful views, very underused so a pretty private walk.
This is one of the best provincial campgrounds on the lower island. Lots to do: hiking, tuning, fishing. Only complaint: directional signs could be more visible.
